Blink by Laura McCone started in 2017 in the heart of Dubai - the city I called home for 27 years. What began as my pursuit in creativity turned into an a whole new adventure and career that I couldn't have imagined I would pursue. What an honour it has been.

From my very first newborn session, to tiny toes running through the desert sand, to capturing a newlywed's first dance surrounded by the people they love - and every shoot in between - I knew I was pursuing something magical.

I love a good giggle at shoots, I usually trip over my own two feet, I adore seeing you be your real self and capturing those little moments when you think I am not looking.

I am currently based at the top of the South Island with my little family - figuring out this wonderful new journey as a mama while pursuing my love for creativity.

I want you to feel genuinely authentically you
Having spent a lot of time in the past in front of the camera - I get the feels!! It can be very daunting getting your photos taken. That's why I love to find the fun and humour in each shoot. I want you to feel relaxed and just be you. I love people and am always so excited to meet you and tell your story through photographs.
I do direct a bit as sometimes direction can make things feel a bit easier in front of the camera but its usually those moments in between the direction where the magic happens and that's what I am there to capture.

Whether you are looking for an in studio shoot, a session in the comfort of your own home, or an outdoor shoot by the sea, there will be intimate moments, little giggles, cuddles and cries, sandy toes, salty noses and so much more. The photos we capture together will be yours for a lifetime and there is so much value in treasuring those moments.
